Bijan Sharifi is a mastering engineer, sound designer, and re-recording mixer based in Berkeley, CA. Having spent the last 15 years recording and mixing music, Bijan entered the film industry as a composer, sound effects editor, and foley editor. He has worked alongside Jim LeBrecht and Dan Olmstead at Berkeley Sound Artists for the past 7 years. Since joining the team at IMRSV Sound, Bijan has brought many films to the finish line as a sound designer and re-recording mixer. When not on the mix stage, Bijan also works as a mastering engineer at his personal studio in Berkeley, CA.
Having worked with high profile musicians, producers, and directors in both industries, Bijan brings patience, skill and meticulousness to every project. He’s worked with artists such as Geographer, The Seshen, Waterstrider, Ricky Fatar, and Lyrics Born; along with filmmakers Pete Nicks, Bonni Cohen, Jon Shenk, Christina Arquette, Elizabeth Lo, and Bing Liu.
No matter what the project is, Bijan’s primary goal is to create a space of honesty, integrity and empowerment so the client can effortlessly bring their artwork to life.
