Bijan Sharifi is a freelance sound designer, re-recording mixer, and mastering engineer based in Berkeley, CA.

His film work has been showcased in various film festivals, including Sundance, Tribeca, SWSW, Telluride, Doc NYC, and more.  His sound design work on the feature film, Crip Camp, was also nominated for an MPSE award in 2020.  Having worked as a freelance mixing and mastering engineer in the music industry for 15 years, Bijan brings a nuanced musical approach to sound design and re-recording mixing.

He worked alongside Jim LeBrecht and the amazing team at Berkeley Sound Artists/ IMRSV Sound for 8 years.  Now, currently working as a freelance engineer, Bijan takes on short and long form projects of various kinds.  Some of his credits can be viewed here at IMDB.

No matter what the project is, Bijan’s primary goal is to create a space of honesty, integrity and empowerment so the client can effortlessly bring their artwork to life.
