Bijan Sharifi is a freelance sound designer, re-recording mixer, and mastering engineer based in Berkeley, CA.

His film work has been showcased in various film festivals, including Sundance, Tribeca, SWSW, Telluride, and more.  Bijan worked as a sound designer on 3 Oscar nominated films, and his work on the feature film, Crip Camp, was also nominated for an MPSE award in 2020.  Having worked as a freelance mixing and mastering engineer in the music industry for 15 years, Bijan brings a nuanced musical approach to sound design and re-recording mixing.

He worked alongside Jim LeBrecht and the amazing team at Berkeley Sound Artists/ IMRSV Sound for 8 years.  Now, currently working as a freelance engineer, Bijan takes on short and long form projects of various kinds.  Some of his credits can be viewed here at IMDB.
